We hired The Gourmet Hog Roast for our wedding in May 2026 at Clock Barn Farm, Godalming and they were absolutely amazing. The food was frequently commented on as being some of the best wedding food guests had ever had! The portions were really generous and absolutely delicious (we opted for salmon, steak and lamb chops BBQ). The boys serving on the day were brilliant, set up smoothly and adapted to fit around our schedule of the day and were really friendly. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Tony and the team had provided the hog roast for our wedding for evening food and it was absolutely amazing!! Will defiantly be using them again for our next function could not recommend them enough!

Anthony and his team hosted a fantastic Hog Roast for my 50th birthday at the Wimbledon RFC. Very professional service from beginning to end and I would not hesitate to use the company again and would recommend them to anyone wanting to host a hog roast. I had a lot of guests come up to me on the evening and the next day telling me how succulent the hog roast was and how much they enjoyed it, even the fussy eaters! There was absolutely no left overs which is always a good sign. The team were extremely punctual and polite on the day and set up and tidy up were done quickly and discreetly without any fuss. Thank you.

We hired them for an event in Poynings, and they were fantastic from start to finish. We couldn’t fault them, professional, polite, and incredibly accommodating throughout. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and the food was excellent. It was a huge hit with our guests and received so many compliments. We would highly recommend them and would happily use them again for future events.

I recently attended a wedding where the food was provided by Gourmet Hogroast Company, and I can honestly say it was some of the best wedding food I’ve ever had. Everything was cooked to perfection, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The hog roast was absolutely incredible, and there was plenty of choice for everyone. Nick and his team were brilliant from start to finish, friendly, professional, organised, and clearly passionate about what they do. They helped make the day even more special, and so many guests were talking about how amazing the food was. We had a big classic hog roast at our Leeds wedding in early March and it was just fantastic! The meat was absolutely delicious, and the bride and groom got the pigs cheeks which were to die for! All guests were very happy and very well fed. We did a "cutting the pig" instead of "cutting the cake" which was really fun. If you do this, I recommend bringing aprons and maybe a sword as we do wish now we'd had a sword one something more ceremonial. The team were so friendly and helped contribute to a fun positive atmosphere. Thank you so much for helping to make our day so special. Oh and having the pork leftovers the next days was a perfect hangover cure :)

A wonderful company to work with. Provided a 5 star service at Rickmansworth Golf Club for my Big O birthday !!! Delicious food. Great veggie option. Staff were excellent. Would 100% recommend. Sadly because they were outside I don't think anyone took pics. But everyone raved about the food so that's what's important.

We had a terrific experience with the Gourmet Hog Roast Company for my son's engagement party (SW19, London). The set-up team arrived promptly and were exceptionally friendly and efficient. The food was absolutely amazing, with all our guests giving it a five-star thumbs up. My future daughter-in-law was absolutely overwhelmed and described the party as a magical experience. A really lovely end of year celebration event in Penshurst, Kent. Smooth and efficient set up. Delicious hot roast lamb and roast potatoes cooked outdoors on a mild December day with great vegan and gluten free options. Super chef and friendly service. Heartily recommend.

We booked the Hog Roast Company for an event in Chapmanslade, just south of Bath in Wiltshire. We originally chose them after a Google search — their excellent reviews and their quick, friendly response made them stand out straight away. The booking process felt a little long-winded at times, but we completely appreciate that the team needs to gather the right information to ensure everything runs smoothly. On the day, the weather was absolutely horrendous, but the team ploughed through with genuine smiles on their faces. They arrived on time, served on time, and their positive attitude never wavered despite the conditions. The quality of the food was superb — everyone commented on how delicious it was. The service was equally impressive: the guys were brilliant, friendly, caring, and a pleasure to have on-site. They represented the company exceptionally well. Best hog (Italian) roast ever! Our 50 guests were blown away with the amazing taste. Service was faultless So nice to be able to praise such companies that really do go above and beyond. To also hear that they travelled nearly 2 hours to do all of this and still be perfect & nothing was a problem. Plentiful servings too, we did not go hungry! Great work guys Keep up the great work. We hired The Gourmet Hog Roast Company for our wedding. Even though it was November and raining they came wonderfully prepared! The food was amazing and so many guests said to us that it was lovely. There is a variety of menu options available to choose from with care taken to cater for allergens. Peter was professional and was a great communicator. He let us know food was going to be available early if we wanted it which worked out really well. Thank you so much for making food easy on our big day. We had our wedding at Dodmoor House Northamptonshire and chose to have a hog roast and some sides. The food and service was fantastic! All our guests said how much they enjoyed the food and all the leftovers were very neatly packed up for us which we have very much enjoyed in sandwiches! We used the Gourmet Hog Roast company for a family event for 34 people in Beaconsfield, Bucks. The team were extremely professional and helpful, the food was excellent in both quality and quantity. These guys came to my home in Far Forest, outside Bewdley in Worcestershire for my son’s 21st. Nothing was too much trouble. They were polite, prompt, tidy and most importantly the food was delicious. Would highly recommend. They even put up with quite a few family dogs trying to get in on the action! Would give them 6 stars if I could.

Gourmet Hog Roast deserves more than 5*! Service outstanding from start to finish! Easy to contact, quick response, amazing customer service and the BEST hog roast I have ever had! Was an absolute perfect fit for our wedding, canapés were fab and served efficiently and the puddings were incredible!!! Won’t hesitate to recommend

We ordered a full Italian hog roast for between 50 -60 covers for my 80th birthday - wow! there was enough for my next birthday too! The antipasta starter selection was great too but the hog roast was the star of the show, perfectly cooked with all the trimmings, hot and on time. The roasties were'nt bad either!. Well done you guys for keeping a young man and his large family very happy.👌😊

We had Gourmet Hog Roast cater for our wedding near Ely (Cambridgeshire) recently and they were great. We went for the classic hog roast package and then cheese toasties for evening food. They also had plenty of options to cover all our guests dietary requirements including vegan and gluten free. We were really happy with the quality of the food and the service on the day. All our guests were saying how much they enjoyed it too. Would definitely recommend.

Vestel -Office Event Berkshire We had a wonderful experience from start to end. Anthony and colleague arrived on time and worked hard to cooked up a delicious feast for all 50 of us . The customer service and communication was clear ,helpful and very attentive. We received great feedback from staff and would highly recommend for any event!

Location: Shirrell Heath, nr Bishops Waltham, Hampshire. Tim and Meg attended all day cooking the hog onsite with the added extras we had ordered, a salad and coleslaw. They also provided the plates and cutlery (both disposable but not cheap plastic ones) and the whole event went off really well, despite periods of heavy rainfall, the whole set up under their own marquee which gave a very professional image. The roasted hog was succulent and fed 50 very easily with plenty left over. They also offered vegan and gluten free alternatives. Highly recommended.

We asked GHR to cater for a large group (175) at our wedding. The planning was meticulous, including the logistics of getting all their equipment onto an island on the River Thames. The food was fantastic (people still remind us of the salmon being cooked over open fires) the waiting staff were friendly, professional, and helped to make it such a fantastic day. Thank you Marco
